So I wished for boys, and they’ve come! This babe actually arrived before I could even get a consult in with Mom and Dad. Mr. Connor is a little sweetheart! He looked tiny in the chair but he’s actually 8 lbs heavy and 21″ long. I love love love his hair. Though he was sleepy when he arrived, he fought sleep for a long time before he finally snuggled down. It can be hard to do wakey shots of newborns because they wiggle and cross their eyes, but it pays off in the end to get that shot where they’re looking right at you. I am always amazed at how aware these babes are, even though they’re brand new. They know when they’re in a new place and when there’s new people and even though he’s only a week old, Connor didn’t want to miss out on any fun!
Yes, he does LOOK tired ;D

Mom brought some things, including a beautiful owl quilt she made and an owl hat set that was a gift, which I just love. When I put Connor in the basket and the hat on, suddenly Dad was saying, that’s bird’s asleep! Baskets never fail ;D
When Mom and Dad saw the boat they wanted it immediately. We’re canoeists, they said. So perfect!
Who-hooo!

Beautiful shots of a beautiful family. I love the shot of Connor in the canoe. These pics will make your heart smile every time you look at them. Congrats again.

Amazing Pictures, very nice. Can’t believe how many outfit changes he went through and still managed to pretty much sleep through out the whole thing. Well done guys!
